6 Fashion Mistakes We Need To Avoid

I believe in love at first sight and i have had many love affairs too and sometimes even though i know that it is not perfect for me or is not the right fit, i still take a plunge. Okay! I am talking about fashion of-course and i know you guys have been there too. You see those lovely pair of heels and that beautiful dress and you decide to take it home even though you know it doesn't fit you and is uncomfortable. But i have learned from my mistakes and today i am going to share some of my tricks with you.

1. Comfort is key:

We all love wearing heels but if stilettos aren't for you then opt for something more comfortable like a pair of block heels or kitten heels. Trust me, comfort is the key that will boost your confidence and will instantly adds more beauty to your look and up your fashion game.

2. Don't go overboard with your jewellery:

Don't add too much bling to your look. Too much jewellery starts looking extremely tacky. It might work for your festive look but for your daily wear, I wouldn't suggest that. Either go for a neck-piece and a ring or a pair of earrings and bracelet. Even a watch acts like an accessory and gives your outfit an instant upgrade.

3. Say 'no' to saggy jeans:

Saggy or ill-fitted jeans are a big no no. It's time to get rid of them from your wardrobe. Invest in a good quality jeans that fits you perfectly as jeans is the most versatile piece in your wardrobe that helps you create tons of different yet stylish looks.

4. Wrong bag for wrong occasion:

You don't have to be a bag hoarder but it's the biggest fashion mistake if you are carrying a wrong bag for the wrong occasion. Opt for tote bag for work, sling bag for brunch and a clutch for a night out.

5. No white on white:

When it comes to our sheer tops, we always tend to go for a matching colored camisole underneath but that's not the case with the whites. Do not wear a white camisole underneath a white shirt as the seam-line would show, instead opt for a nude one.

6. How to wear a button-down shirt:

Don't keep more than two buttons open of your shirt, it does not look chic. And that side crease you get on the sleeves after ironing, don't show it off. Steam iron is the way to go.

These aren't any rules that you need to follow, just a few tips to make it easy for you to look chic and elegant. If you found this post helpful and learned from it, do let me know in the comment section below.
